Prices of prescription drugs has dramatically risen during the past few years. It has increased so much to the point that a lot of people are no longer financially able to purchase them. In these cases, the medical health prescription that your medical health physician has written out will end up on a shelf or in your pocket gathering dust. The cost, according to the health insurance providers has been on a steady increase for decades as the pharmaceutical corporations moved out of the United States. Another reason they're looking at is the passage of the free prescription medication bill a few years ago. The purpose was to extend the care of our seniors and extend their treatment.

However to provide free prescription drugs coverage will mean that the costs will be passed on to someone else's health insurance. Because a lot of pharmaceutical companies transferred their business elsewhere, tariffs are going to be added to the cost of the drugs since they are exported from other countries.

Health Insurance carriers have prohibited individuals from paying out of pocket for prescription medication. So now, costs of prescription has become so expensive that individuals are being creative in trying to fill the prescribed medication. Some people purchase the drugs upfront but they don't take their prescription as scheduled so the medicines can be extended. While others would combine taking prescription drugs with over the counter medicines.

Insurance carriers are either doing away with prescription drug coverage or they are cutting the percentage that they will cover. In effect, this is causing the individual to pay even more out of pocket for the same medical health prescription until they can research and find an alternative plan that will offer the same results.
A lot of prescription drugs had already been banned from being sold since it is being a problem to a lot of patients and their families.
